Know Before You Go: Faster Horses Festival

Faster Horses Festival is back for its second year on July 18, 19, and 20th. Before you head out to enjoy three days of amazing country music, it is a good idea to know these things before you go.

WHAT TO BRING

You are allowed to bring in a small gallon clear bag for snacks and one full plastic water bottle (per person) up to a liter. It must be clear and factory sealed. Faster Horses does have free water stations on the festival grounds to refill during the day.

Bring sunscreen. Seriously. You’ll be standing in an open field for the majority of the time you are there. We saw a fair share of people on the second day that looked miserable with their crazy sun burns.

Bring some cash. There are ATMs on the festival grounds but as lines get longer for beer and food, it is sometimes easier…

Scotty McCreery is ‘Feelin’ It’ in New Video: Watch

Scotty McCreery‘s new single “Feelin’ It” is an ode to the best parts of summer and just might be a close contender for 2014’s song of the summer ? at least certainly within the country genre.

In the music video for the song, which was released today (July 11), McCreery and friends bring the song to life on the open road, in the sand and on the beach.

“Kick back, relax, just chillin’/ I’m feelin’, I’m feelin’ it,” he sings on the chorus.

LeAnn Rimes Announces December Tour to Go Along with Christmas Album

It’s officially Christmas in July, but for LeAnn Rimes fans it may feel just like Christmas morning.

The country singer took to YouTube for a very merry announcement yesterday (July 10).

In the YouTube clip, Christmas bells were ringing before Santa’s helpers revealed Rimes’ wearing a parka on the beach in a beach chair. Soon, her pristine voice is heard in song as she reveals her plans and the cities for her ONE Christmas Tour this winter.

?I love everything about the holidays and want to share the magic and joy of the season with my fans. I look forward to playing some of my favorite Christmas classics for music lovers in an intimate, cozy setting,? Rimes said in a release.
